Honoring Native American Heritage Month, the Native American Chamber Of Commerce Of Illinois, the Illinois Office of Minority Economic Empowerment, and the IDCEO hosted a panel of distinguished and successful Native American Business Leaders to discuss how they grew their brands and businesses and, how they overcame adversities.

Wendy K. White Eagle was featured in an article that appeared in the Daily Herald.  See an excerpt of the article immediately follows.  Wendy K. White Eagle of Campton Hills is CEO of Inspire Nous Investment Inc., formed her international investment advisory firm in 2003 in Maple Park after a request from some people she had helped with a transaction.  "The entrepreneurial bug hit me a long time ago," she said.  White Eagle was born and raised in Madison, Wisconsin.  She also followed various jobs to different cities, from Silicon Valley to Ohio to Maine.  In about 2000, she came to the Chicago area and pursued a career in the financial industry.

The Auxiliary of Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage and Delnor hospitals offers college scholarships to students pursuing a degree or certification in a healthcare-related field, such as nursing, applied health, or pharmacy. Applicants who live in the Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital or Northwestern Medicine Delnor Hospital service area can receive scholarships of $1,000 to $5,000 per year toward tuition expenses only.
